We had a fantastic day with Simon. We took a tour to Budapest and Bratislava from Vienna. In the morning, he called us to let us know he was running slightly late and that was absolutely fine. We started our day travelling to Budapest as it was the longest drive of the day. The journey was very pleasant and we had a small stop for a coffee and toilet. Then we proceeded to Budapest. Simon took us for a smoko (word for a small coffee break) at a very pleasant coffee shop and then we walked around the town. Simon is very knowledgeable and explained to us with so many details about history. But he was not only a tour guide, he is passionate about his heritage and about everything that happened in this beautiful part of the world. We had 2 hrs to eat and walk around there. Then we started the journey to Bratislava. We arrived there in the afternoon, just as the sun was setting. And what a beautiful site it was! Again, Simon took us around, always talking about the facts and history and how people live there. We had a walk around and then went back to Vienna. Simon was very professional, very friendly and very patient. I travelled with my elderly parents and we didn't feel we were rushed around. We enjoyed every minute of it and I would call Simon next time we are in the area. I highly recommend this tour.

The early morning car ride offered stunning views of the countryside, and by Mid morning, we were already immersed in Budapest’s grandeur—starting with Liberty Square and the house of Parliament. Walking down Danube river near Széchenyi Chain Bridge felt like stepping into an artistic dream. The highlight? Crossing the Chain Bridge to Buda’s historic quarter. Fisherman’s Bastion’s panoramic views and Matthias Church’s intricate details left us in awe. I squeezed in a quick coffee at a ruin bar. Last but not least, I would like to appreciate Mr. Simeon’s insightful tour guide. He recommended us his favourite coffee shop in Budapest, Expresso embassy, a very chic and chill place to hangout and enjoying coffee. Moreover, Mr. Simeon explained some of the historic incidents during the visit of some iconic places to demonstrate and deepen our experience in here.
